Where we are based here in Brittany you are spoilt for choice of places to visit, all within easy driving distances, just 8 minutes from the gite you have the glorious beach of Kerhillio, miles of soft sandy beach that stretches all the way around to the peninsular of Quiberon, which is a lovely seaside town with many shops, Restaurants, cafés & bars, for golf lovers, we have the "St Laurent" golf course just 5 minutes away, the medieval town of Vannes is about a 20 minute drive and has a lovely quaint port as well as historical buildings, with lots of choices for restaurants and bars, Auray is 10 minutes away and a must see is the absolutely splendid old port of "St Goustan", again lined with many restaurants and bars the seafood menus are great !!!, for the sailing and boat lovers "La Trinité Sur Mer" is close at hand as is the cosmopolitan resort of "Carnac" Just 5 minutes away from La Chouette is lovely "St Cado" with the famous little house on the Island

Why not take a boat trip to explore the wonders and many Islands of the "Golfe Du Morbihan" and discover the old celtic folklore of how these Islands came to be.
